This little place has such an awesome vibe, amazing food, and thy synergy of the staff is next level. I had the best time going there to watch one of the best up and comer country artists performing, and I sincerely hope to see many more shows there in the future!
Couldn’t speak more highly of this place. Service was incredible. The owners were so attentive, funny and friendly. It’s beautiful inside, they did a great job decorating and making it feel warm. Drinks and food were so good, I want to try everything on the menu. Great to be supporting local! Totally stoked to have this spot in my neighborhood now! Thank you!
Sipp Public House is more than a lovely spot to grab a drink -- it's a warm, welcoming hub that consistently goes above and beyond. From the moment you walk in, you notice the care that's been put into every detail: cozy seating, thoughtful lighting, and an atmosphere that somehow manages to be both relaxed and energizing. The menu is thoughtfully curated with something for everyone, the service is attentive without being intrusive, and the events they host feel genuinely designed to bring people together. What truly sets Sipp apart is Emily, the owner. Emily is the kind of proprietor who greets you by name, remembers small details about her regulars, and greets newcomers with genuine curiosity and hospitality. Emily recommended a beer based off a few questions and nailed it. It's number 9 on the beer list. She's clearly invested in creating a space where people feel seen and at home. Her hands-on leadership shows in everything from the polished event nights to the carefully sourced offerings behind the counter. Whether she's introducing a local artist, overseeing a themed community night, or chatting with a guest about their favorite blend, Emily's warmth and competence elevate the whole experience. Sipp Public House also nails the small things that matter: timely refills, thoughtful dietary options, and a calm but lively soundtrack that complements conversation without overpowering it. It's a rare local business that manages to be both polished and personal, and that balance will keep people coming in to relax. If you're in the area and want a place that feels like a neighborhood living room with exceptional service and heart, Sipp is the spot. Emily's leadership and obvious dedication to community make it not just a business, but a genuine gathering place. She's very cool! Highly recommend.
Love it! The vibe is just the right amount of classy but still comfortable and casual, the food is a small bite menu that's very tasty. The decor is just right, great happy hour place, beer, wine and a cocktail menu.
Had an incredible time at the SIPP. The owners Brian and Emily were attentive hosts and had a nice variety of beer and wines available. Food was amazing - we had the stuffed mushrooms as an evening snack, and had to go back for a 2nd order because they were so tasty! The vibe is upscale, but the prices were very reasonable. Really excited to see this place take off!
The newly remodeled Sipp Public House stands out as a must-visit destination for beer, wine, and delightful small plates. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, blending the feel of a cozy neighborhood spot with sophisticated, modern decor. The wonderful service from the staff is very friendly and personalized, and I instantly felt welcomed. The Sipp menu is small, yet the dishes are outstanding with good sized portions and very reasonable prices. The owner is a trained culinary chef, and the quality of the menu reflects this expertise in every bite. We started with the spectacular Beet Salad, featuring fresh arugula, shaved shallots, and creamy feta, all tossed in a delightful lemon vinaigrette. We also indulged in the recommended Roasted Broccolini, served with a tasty whipped feta and lemon vinaigrette. Finally, the Stuffed Mushrooms with sausage and pesto were savory, rich, and very satisfying. This was plenty for my partner and I to share for dinner. The Sipp Public House is a comfortable local pub with cozy areas for conversation and incredible culinary creations. We will be back in the near future.
Love to see cool new spots opening up in Hazel Dell. This is a pretty neat spot focused on good drinks and tasty small bites. I was so happy to see that aside from their creative cocktail menu and plenty of beer on tap options - they have a great NA / mocktail menu too. We were able to make the whiskey apple smash into a mocktail that tasted great and I had a glass of NA wine. The small bites were delicious - I’ll definitely be back for the chicken skewers and potatoes. My kiddo (kids are allowed until a certain time) loved their cheesecake. We were lucky to stop by on a Wednesday when they had trivia and it was nearly a full house. Staff was great and so friendly!
